Liggia provides individual short-term counselling and longer-term work (psychotherapy) to individuals aged 18 years and above.
LS Focus Counselling & Psychotherapy is an inclusive practice where all minority groups can feel welcome. Liggia respects that everybody is different and will need different support. Therefore, please contact Liggia to see if working with her will be a comfortable fit for you.
Liggia can be seen with a referral from a doctor or psychiatrist, or can see individuals without a referral as a private client.
Sessions are 60 minutes and can be conducted in person or via Tele-Health (telephone attendance or video call).

Full payment is required immediately after the consultation via eftpos.
To obtain a Medicare rebate you will need to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor.
If you have Top Extras cover with Teachers Health, UniHealth & Nurses and Midwives Health, you may be eligible for a rebate.
CANCELLATION POLICY
When you make an appointment, this time is reserved for you. 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations. Less than 24 hours notice will incur the full fee.
CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY
Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are bound by a code of ethics, which includes maintaining confidentiality about what you discuss in sessions. However, there may be exceptional circumstances when there is concern about you or someone else’s safety in which your information might be shared.
